Blast From the Past - Riding Students From Years Past - Part 1

I have been completely lucky and blessed to be able to work with some outstanding students through the years, and it's also been great to see those horseback riding and lesson students grow into adults and have some great success of their own, including as riding instructors and trainers. Enjoy some of these fun photos! Oh, this crew was a great one! While they all had individual lessons, we also had a great Show Team that met for two hour practice every Saturday. We would work on our flat-work, jumping exercises, ride each other's horses, play fun games, and build some of the craziest jumps we could think of. During the off season we might practice falling off, jumping bareback, or going for a ride through the fields. It's always great to find some natural jumps to practice on when riding out, too.

There's a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and love that goes into riding horses, riding lessons, and the overall equestrian sport. Starting out as a beginner in riding lessons is a challenge for any age, but one that can be very rewarding. Every student who ever wanted to show DID show, and did well. All goals can be met with desire and drive, and these great people sure have it.
